Downstream Refined Products

Downstream is one of the three generally accepted subdivisions of the petroleum industry and speaks specifically to the refining process. Product arriving to this section of the industry in the form of crude oil will then be transported from refineries as gasoline, diesel or jet fuel, as well as heating oil, fuel oils, lubricants, waxes, asphalt, diesel oil, kerosene and liquified petroleum gas.
