Fall Protection

Safe access solutions designed to keep workers SAFE and productive

Whether it’s loading and unloading vehicles, pipeline valve check, aviation assembly, roof access, or industrial machine maintenance, SafeRack has a fall protection solution to keep your workers safe from the 2nd leading cause of work-related injury at work: falls from height.

OSHA standards require that fall protection be provided at elevations of four feet in general industry workplaces, five feet in shipyards, six feet in the construction industry, and eight feet in longshoring operations. OSHA compliance also necessitates that fall protection be provided when working over dangerous equipment and machinery, regardless of the fall distance.

OSHA requires employers to do the following to remain compliant:

  • Use railings, industrial safety gates, floor hole cover, or toe-boards to guard all accessible floor holes.
  • Use of guardrails and toe-boards around every elevated open-sided platform, floor, or runway.
  • Use guardrails and toe-boards to prevent workers from falling into or onto dangerous machines or equipment, regardless of the height.
  • Use of other fall protection systems such as safety harnesses and lines, safety nets, stair railings, and handrails as required.

Slips, trips, and falls are preventable, and we’re here to help you exceed OSHA compliance to keep your workers safe and productive to keep your business running efficiently to increase throughput.
