Protect your outdoor containment units from stormwater with passive hydrocarbon filtration

Rain can be a problem when it fills your containment unit’s sump – leaving less capacity in case of a spill. For every gallon of rainwater in your sump, that’s one less gallon of chemical / fuel /hazmat that can be contained.  A self bailer can help remove that rainwater, leaving your sump available for possible spills.

The Self Bailer attaches to any outdoor spill containment unit via a bulkhead fitting. Rainwater drains through the fitting while any residual gas, oil, or other hydrocarbon is removed by the filter media located inside the unit, so that only clean water exits. If there is a spill, the filter media swells to seal the Self Bailer so that no liquid escapes from the container.
