Cody has been with SafeRack since 2015. Cody has been in the industry for the past few years. Prior to joining the SafeRack team, Cody was heavily involved in the golf industry from the ground up. He also operated and managed a couple highly successful restaurants in the Charleston, SC area. Cody has excelled in the customer service industry for the better part of 20 years.
Cody spent the better part of his early life in Windsor, Ontario, Canada and currently resides in Charleston, S.C. He climbed the national ranks in junior golf which led to a division one golf scholarship at Cleveland State University. Upon completion at CSU, Cody attended Wayne State University to complete further studies in marketing.
When Cody is not busy with SafeRack, he enjoys playing golf and hockey, contributing to global concerns, traveling the world, watching/attending his favorite Michigan sports teams, and most importantly spending quality time with his immediate family and friends.
We needed a barrier gate to help us reduce rack damage, saving money and time in the future.
It has not been delivered yet but is on its way. While we would love to have it here earlier we understand that product availability is not always immediate. We feel the salesperson explained that this barrier gate should drastically help reduce that!
We were already using [SafeRack products] in our facility in Little Rock, AR. [SafeRack provides] a better way for employees to open manways on top of railcars. The purchasing experience was all positive, no negatives.
SafeRack has always been a responsive company concerning the complete process of buying their products. They are easy to install and [functionality] has never been an issue. If you have ever had any issues with gangways, when you start buying from SafeRack, those issues go away.
It works, easy to install, well-written assembly instructions, bolt holes all line up PERFECT, I MEAN PERFECT. You have no idea how much of a difference it makes when products are machined to perfection.
You have my recommendation. Not just because you make a great product, but because you listen to feedback and take it seriously instead of the usual “it will never happen again” speech. I found that you act on feedback, which is a huge reason to continue being a repeat customer.
The salesman Steven Dew was very responsive and kept me updated during the whole sales process. He emailed multiple times to provide updates for hurricane Florence. We liked the fact that you can customize the size of the platform. We tried looking for other suppliers and no one would provide this type of service. The removable rails are very important for us because we need to unload parts from the machine. We would recommend this product because of the quality, customization and friendliness of the sales team.
The product was delivered very quickly, and exceeded our expectations. Our salesman was very responsive and informative. He actually stopped by to look at our other safety rack, I asked him for a quote, he measured, and got back with me very quickly. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who would like to save space while depending on safety features.

I received my product within a week of ordering. The part I needed had a different name from what I was calling it, but my salesman knew exactly what I needed. This purchase could not have gone any better. Everything was great.

I like the adjustable arms allowing the gate to be installed in multiple openings. I would and have recommended the product due to its durability and great customer service which I’m sure is wide spread throughout the sales department. I found a quality product that I will surely purchase if the need for the product comes back around.
The order was delivered on time, as promised. The best features include the way the locking feature works and how easy the install is, works right out the box. The best rack we’ve used and great product support.
Curtis and Cody were a lot of help FROM THE VERY START OF THE PROJECT. This was a special project and had to have special pieces made to order and SafeRack came through for us. The sales team worked with us because we had to break up order on different PO’s. Items were priced within reason – even special order parts! Great quality material, fast delivery – some things come right off the shelf. Items were delivered within 10 days of placing the order.
Quotes were delivered quickly, and order was processed quickly once p.o. was issued. Great product. Good support from sales staff, even made attempts to travel out of their way to our facility if needed. I was very impressed with the quality of the stairs relative to their cost, and will definitely consider Safe Rack on future projects.
Customer service and sales were outstanding. I dealt with two salesmen. They both responded almost immediately to my calls and correspondence. Product design and quality are top notch. I originally ordered 27 Yellowgates. After having them installed, I ordered an additional 26. Delivery was prompt. The flexibility and safety features this product allows is a huge selling point. Will be using this product again.
