Double Bottomed Tank

A Double Bottomed Tank is a vertical aboveground tank. It has bottoms separated by an internal space, a safety feature for huge stand-alone tanks in refineries serves like baffles in oil tankers. If a leak should develop in the bottom of the primary tank, the released liquid will enter the intermediary space.

A double-bottomed tank provides a method for monitoring tank leaks and adds a form of spill containment solution.

A second containment weapon is always good to have.
